Wildlife Conservation, Hope, & Gull Rock

HI All!
This last weekend we went to the wildlife conservation center near Girdwood. We saw injured animals and some bear cubs that were very entertaining. Then we went for a 11.5 mile hike with Kelsey's friends. The hike was called Gull Rock. We stopped at the Town of Hope for a beer and a bite to eat where there was even live music.
Hope all is doing well!
Enjoy the pics

We headed for a day trip to the Kenai peninsula. We hoped to fish at a lake we had heard about but it was very windy...way too windy to try and fish :(
We decided to drive into seward and just check out future camping spots along the way. We saw a black bear from a far distance...no pictures though.

Slush Cup 2011 & more Moose

Happy Easter to all!
This weekend we went to the Slush Cup in Alyeska Ski Area. Basically its a competition of who can go on their skis across a frigid pool (only 33 degrees!!) . They get judged on air time, trick, and costume. It was a miserable cold down poor at the ski area so we didnt stay too long, but it was well worth watching the event.
Dall Sheep on way back from ski area
Andy Found this moose on his bike just a few blocks from our house. The next day we saw 5 moose in town with Dave and Lila's 2 Kids!
